Yerevan arrival -Yerevan walking tour 

Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. The English-speaking tour guide will welcome and accompany you to the hotel in a comfortable minivan. 

Start the walking tour in the capital of Armenia: Fountains Park, Republic Square, Hanrapetutyan and Abovyan streets with their 19th c. buildings, Cascade, Mother Armenia, Opera House, etc

Overnight in Yerevan

Yerevan-Garni- Geghard-Lavash baking and snacks-Craft Cheese  farm-Lake Sevan -Yerevan 

After breakfast, drive to Geghard. This UNESCO  sight is awaiting you.  In clear weather, you will enjoy the breathtaking view of the biblical mount on your way.  Continue your way to Garni. Visit the only Greco Roman temple in the post soviet area. After a short walk in the Garni gorge surrounded by the symphony of Stones, head to a local house and participate in Lavash making process (Intangible heritage of the humanity UNESCO). Here you will have some snacks with lavash. Now time to explore Lake Ssevan. Don’t miss Sevanavank monastery, situated on the top of the peninsula to admire the beauty of the  second largest mountain lake in the World- Lake Sevan. It’s situated on 1950 m.s.l..  On the way back to Yerevan, visit the craft cheese family farm to taste cheese aged in wine or brandy.

 Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-6100 years old winery-Wine Tasting-Yerevan 

After  breakfast at the hotel, head to the biblical Mount Ararat , where you will visit one of the most important places for the Christian World-Khor Virap. Situated at the slopes of Mt. Ararat, it  becomes more special. Continue your way to Noravank. Here you will see the extraordinary architecture of the XIII c  monastery surrounded with reddish rocks. Visit Areni cave to see the 6100 years old winery. Don’t miss your chance to taste local wine, right in the wine village. Drive back to Yerevan after  lunch and wine tasting in Yeghegnadzor.
