This church built in 618 became the first example of Armenian religious (ecclesiastical) architecture.Finish the interesting day with a nice city tour in one of the oldest cities and the youngest capitals. You will pass the nearest point in Armenia to the Biblical Mount Ararat. Visit one of the Holiest places for the Armenians as the First Christian Nation. It was in Khor Virap, where Gregory was condemned to die, but remained alive by miracle and 13 years later founded the Cathedral of the First Christian state.

Start the tour very early in the morning to admire the beauty of Armenian highland from bird’s eye view. You will have a nice  hot ballon  flight  in Garni. Just 40 minutes drive from  Yerevan visit Garni village- one of the oldest settlements in Armenia. It is more then 4000 years old. On the triangular plateau is situated the only pagan temple of Greco-Roman style in the whole post-Soviet territory. Built in the I century A.D., the temple of Mitra served for religious ceremonies until 301. Situated in the territory of the Royal summer residence thisis the only pagan temple remained in Armenia after the proclamation of Christianity. The ruins of the Royal residence are situated near the Temple. From there you can see the symphony of stones from-basalt columns which look like musical instrument Organ. largest mountain lake in the World-Lake Sevan. Situated on 1950 m. a.s.l. with 1250 sq. km surface Sevan is considered the pearl of Armenia and the biggest reservoir of fresh water in Caucasus.

Tsaghkadzor-Saghmosavank-Amberd-Aragats-TsaghkadzorThe driver will come to take you from your hotel in Tsaghkadzor and you will drive towards Saghmosavan village to admire the beautiful Kasakh canyon and Saghmosavank monastery. Continue your way towards the mount Aragats . You can drive uo to 3200 m. where, you will probably find snow even in summer.
